How to help

There are many ways to donate books to the schools and huts of Botswana. 

Here are some suggestions…


#1 To contribute to the shipping costs:

You can contribute to the shipping cost of a book container sent by Books For Africa.
Books For Africa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which collects books to donate to African countries.

Botswana Book Project is over half funded for the next shipment
and are looking for cash donations to make the shipment of 25,000 books a reality. 
The donations are tax deductible and can be made on line (check the site
or checks** made out to Books For Africa can be posted to:

#2 To Donate Books:

We need books (paperback or hardcover) for children and teens relating to human health and wellness (physical, mental and social). This includes novels for children and teens that emphasize positive conflict resolution, respectful relationships, issues in friendship, romance and self identity... for a list of suggested titles, click here

Books with a current copyright date, clean condition only please, can be posted to:

 Please label the box clearly and in LARGE LETTERS add the following message:
on sides and top of box and pack boxes fully so they don't squash if stacked.
Media mail is about $20 for every 50 pounds.

#3 Support Bana Ba Metsi school:
